For security and safety reasons, Rio Tinto Shared Services Pty Limited collects your name and business contact details when you visit us. In case an emergency arises during your visit, we suggest you provide us with details of an emergency contact person also (this is optional). Please let your emergency contact person know that you have provided their contact details to us. We will store this personal data for 12 months. Under the Privacy Act 1988, you may seek access to or update your contact details at any time. Please ask your host if you have any questions.
Temperature screening is reasonably necessary to manage and control the spread of COVID-19. Fever is a common symptom of COVID-19. Our aim is to reduce the exposure of COVID-19 to 123 Albert Street by only allowing people with a normal temperature to enter site.Rio Tinto does not record or otherwise have access to the results of the temperature screen.
If you have a normal temperature, there will be no personal data stored in relation to your screening results.
If you have a high temperature or fever, your name, and the fact that you were unable to access site will be shared with your Rio Tinto contact and Group Property for the purposes of managing entry to site in light of COVID-19. This information will be handled in accordance with our Data Privacy Standard available at www.riotinto.com. Data may also be de-identified and used for statistical reporting to site management.

Specific Consent for Processing Your Personal Information
For the purposes of protecting your personal and property safety, and that of Rio Tinto Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and other members of Rio Tinto Group (including their respective staff, “Rio Tinto”), dealing with any potential emergencies and other safety related issues (“Specific Purposes”), upon your visit, you are required to provide your name, organisation and telephone (“Your Personal Information”). It is optional to provide the name and telephone of your emergency contact (“Third-party Personal Information”).
